Step by Step Approach
01: LOCATION
Ensure the design capitalises on the features of the site
and is sympathetic to its surroundings. We’ll ask you about your site and the features that attracted you to it
so we can give you the best design outcome possible.
02: IDEAS & INSPIRATION
Form, functionality and finances are considered to create a brief of your needs and wants. Feel free to bring along sketches, photos, a wish list or ideas that inspire you.
03: DESIGN FRAMEWORK
We prepare initial sketches and concepts and present these to you for your feedback.
04: PRELIMINARY DESIGN
When you are completely happy with of the
development concept, preliminary drawings are
developed, including detailed site layout, floor plans, elevation, 3D computer model and preliminary material
selection.
05: CONSULTANTS & PERMITS
At this point in the process, specialist consultants can be
incorporated and relevant permits and approval can be obtained.
06: WORKING DRAWINGS
Once all of the elements have been compiled and you are happy with the design, detailed drawings and documentation will be prepared.
07: COST & BUILDER SELECTION
The construction drawings are tendered to a select panel of local builders who are experienced in the scale and style of construction and have a proven record of reliability and quality. Alternatively, you may already have
a builder to work alongside.
08: CONSTRUCTION
Additional services during the construction phase can be introduced, including site inspections to ensure the finished project remains true to the original design.
